Your ECTS coordinator

Your ECTS Coordinator at the Zagreb Academy of Music Asst. Prof. Danijel Legin, ects@muza.unizg.hr

What does my ECTS Coordinator at the home institution do in the implementation of mobility?

  • Helps in choosing courses at the host institution – a foreign university (international mobility) or another domestic higher education institution (horizontal mobility)
  • Signs the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) or another type of learning agreement
  • Advises when changing courses and signing changes during mobility (OLA or other type of agreement) changes during mobility)
  • Recognises completed courses upon return from mobility
  • In case of withdrawal, the ECTS Coordinator signs a statement on the waiver of mobility
  • Provides support to students when choosing an institution and signing documentation for Erasmus+ traineeships (work placements, internships).

PROCEDURES:

BEFORE THE MOBILITY

  1. The student independently studies the study program and courses at the receiving institution.
  2. In cooperation with the ECTS Coordinator, the student chooses the courses at the receiving institution.
  3. Completes the OLA or other type of learning agreement, which is then signed by the ECTS Coordinator of the home institution and the ECTS Coordinator of the host institution. This regulates student mobility.

DURING THE MOBILITY

  1. If necessary, the student can change the OLA/learning agreement, after which the ECTS coordinator of the home institution and the ECTS coordinator of the receiving institution re-sign it.
  2. Amendments are generally made within the first 30 days of mobility.

AFTER THE MOBILITY

  1. Immediately upon receipt of the (Transcript of Records) the student sends the transcript to the ECTS Coordinator of the home institution and requests recognition of the courses passed.
  2. The ECTS Coordinator of the home institution prepares a Decision on the Recognition of Courses and a Decision on the Recognition of Exams and sends it to the student and the student service, which enters the courses passed into the ISVU system. (This is valid for the students of the Zagreb Academy of Music. Students from other institutions should consult their home institution ECTS Coordinator.)
  3. The student attaches the ISVU printout to the documentation required for closing the mobility. (This is valid for the students of the Zagreb Academy of Music. Students from other institutions should consult their home institution ECTS Coordinator.)
