APPLE DEVICES:

ANDROID:
NO. The user account in the AAI@Edu system and the email address of the Academy of Music are not the same thing / the same user account (although they look like it). The AAI system uses the domain extension (in the case of the Academy of Music, the extension @muza.hr) to "recognize" which institution a user comes from when logging into the central system used by all educational and state institutions in the Republic of Croatia (you can, for example, log in to e-citizen with this account).
Brief explainer
AAI@Edu user accounts are used primarily (most often in the case of MA users) to access the ISVU Teachers' Portal (teachers) or Studomat (students), the Eduroam WiFi system, and the online Merlin e-learning system (teachers and students).
ALL students and employees of the Academy of Music have an AAI@Edu user ID..
LONG EXPLANATION (for those who want to know more):
The AAI@EduHr system is an authentication and authorization system for science and higher education in the Republic of Croatia in which every member of the academic and research community in the Republic of Croatia receives their AAI@EduHr electronic identity, i.e. a user ID and password, at their home institution.
The coordination, development and maintenance of the AAI@EduHr system is performed by Srce - University Computing Center of the University of Zagreb.
The electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system has the form userID@facultyID.hr
The AAI@EduHr system is an important asset that is personally assigned to a member of the academic and research community by his/her home institution. An electronic identity is not a “user account” used for a single service, but rather provides access to a large number of different services from different service providers. An electronic identity often allows the identity owner to access his/her personal data and to exercise various material rights. For all of the above, an electronic identity should be used exclusively personally, not given to other persons and carefully guarded against any unauthorized use.
An electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system is required to use a large number of Internet connection services networks (e.g. in student dormitories, via the eduroam service or CARNet's Internet connection services for end users), access computer resources, and log in to a large number of web applications such as distance learning systems, online databases, ISVU studomat, etc.
Members of the academic and research community in the Republic of Croatia can request and obtain an electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system exclusively at the home institution, and an electronic identity can only be assigned to them by an authorized person, the so-called administrator of the institution's LDAP directory. are, for example, distance learning systems, online databases, ISVU studomat, etc.
More information about who is entitled to an electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system and for which services it is necessary to have an AAI@EduHr electronic identity can be found on the page Frequently Asked Questions, ISVU studomat, etc.

The Merlin e-learning system enables teachers, students and institutions in the higher education system to deliver courses that are in the course queue of a particular institution, using e-learning technologies. The Merlin virtual e-learning environment consists of the Merlin e-learning system, webinar system and e-portfolio system and is connected to the ISVU (Information System of Higher Education).
The MERLIN (MOODLE) e-learning system is accessed through the web interface at https://moodle.srce.hr/ using the AAI@Edu username.
A) Teachers can contact the system administrator with ALL questions related to opening courses and uploading content to them,
Vice Dean for Studies and lifelong learning – via email: prodekan.studiji@muza.unizg.hr or head of IT support
B) Students with questions related to access to courses can contact the IT Support : info@muza.unizg.hr
You can upload documents up to 100 MB in size directly to Merlin.
You can also store all large files (e.g. videos) on your Google Drive (https://drive.google.com). The system is accessed with the same user account you use for Merlin). Then place a link to these documents in Merlin.
If you have problems logging into Google Drive services, please contact the IT Support Office (info@muza.unizg.hr).
In order for a student to upload their recordings/assignments to Merlin, the teacher must first open an Assignment (https://wiki.srce.hr/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=35488988) as part of their course.
Detailed instructions for Merlin for teachers are available at the link https://wiki.srce.hr/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=35488290
Due to the current circumstances in which teaching is taking place entirely in an e-environment, we would like to emphasize the importance of respecting copyright when publishing, sharing and creating your own educational content. Accordingly, based on two online Srce courses, concise instructions have been prepared as a quick reminder for teachers on the correct use of content.

For the purposes of conducting distance learning, the University of Zagreb has created a series of video tutorials (instructions) that describe how to establish an asynchronous and synchronous model of teaching. Special emphasis is placed on the possibility of direct two-way communication with students. The technology that can be used for meetings of teachers, management committees, organizational units, institutes or departments is also presented.
These video tutorials are intended as an optional recommendation primarily for professors and teachers of the University of Zagreb, but also for all other interested employees and institutions of the education system. (materials are available in Croatian only)

Other programs/software
Cubase, Avid Sibelius and many other programs offer an academic discount for purchases for private purposes – check with the manufacturer what type of certificate they require (often it is just a form that needs to be filled out and certified at the Academic Affairs Office – students, or the Human Resources Office – teachers and other Academy employees).
